Omicron Seafood is the  largest processor and exporter of frozen fish in Suriname. The 11,630 square feet facility includes a chiller with a capacity of 42,000 lbs, a blast freezer with a capacity of 22,000 lbs per day, and a cold storage with a capacity of 450,000 lbs. We currently have 40 highly motivated and skilled persons in our employ. Since July 1^st 1997 we meet the regulations of the European Council for food processing and packing of seafood for human consumption and comply with FDA regulations, allowing us to continue our export to the United states and Europe.

Our current markets are in Jamaica, Aruba, Miami and Venezuela. Reefer container shipments can be done weekly with direct shipments to almost anywhere in the world. Most shipments are done with 40 Ft high cube containers which take 50,000 lbs of product.

Our office is fully equipped with telephone facsimile and e-mail facilities. we are fully computerized which assist in completion of the day to day tasks . All correspondence is done with either Pretaap H. Radhakishun (president) or Gerry G. Mannes (vice president) Who are both available 24 hrs a day in an effort to satisfy our customer's demands.
